(Screen)Play Press was founded in 2022 and is dedicated to publishing great, unproduced screenplays. 

We believe scripts are literary works that can stand on their own merit, not only as a blueprint, and should be available to readers in bookshops and online, regardless of whether or not they have been made into films. 

We create a new dynamic for talented screenwriters who want to circulate their work to general audiences, actors, directors, and producers, while also protecting their intellectual property through publication and copyright. 

Our scripts are curated for quality and diversity. The inaugural release of The Screenwriter’s Draft featured all scripts written by women.
